Diet Friendly Dessert

I’m a notorious late night snacker.

Come 10:00pm, you will always find me with my nose buried in the fridge searching for something to eat.

I’m always on the lookout for good late night snacks that don’t make you feel gross by the time you crawl into bed.

I’ve seen clean eating dessert recipes floating around Pinterest for a while now but I’ve stayed clear. For me, if I’m having a dessert I don’t want it to resemble anything healthy.

However, I figured it was time to switch up my late night snacking habits and finally enter the world of healthy desserts.

To start, 3-ingredient brownies.

Clean Eating Brownies

You will need:

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 4 TBS of cocoa powder (or to taste depending on how rich you want it)

Put your peanut butter in a microwavable bowl and heat until liquified.

While that’s heating up, slice up your bananas and add them and your cocoa powder to a large bowl.

Add your peanut butter and mix it up.

Add the batter to a greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

The consistency of the brownie is deliciously gooey and fudgey.

The fresh, light taste of banana combined with strong, rich chocolate is eye-roll worthy.

The perfect late night, guilt-free, chocolately snack.

Promise me this though, since you’re cooking with copious amounts of peanut butter, be sure to share some with your cooking assistant.
