Frosted Cinnamon Poppers

My recipe posts as of late have been guilt-free, nutrient packed and sneekily healthy.

Well, if you’ve had a week like mine, you will need something much more sinful this weekend. Plus, if you’ve been trying my recipes, we both know how healthy you’ve been (even if it doesn’t feel like it because they taste oh-so naughty) so you absolutely deserve this.

With the weekend less than 24 hours away, I thought it was the perfect time to share my quick-as-a-flash frosted cinnamon poppers.


I think one of the best meals to share with people is brunch.

Everyone brings something then you get to sit back, mimosa in hand and try taste after taste of delicious brunch food – which we all know is the best meal of the day.

While I love cooking and baking, when I get invited to pot-luck type get-togethers, I always seem to forget to bake something until last minute which is where this recipe comes in handy.

It’s quick. It’s easy. It’s unbelievably delicious.

You’ll need:

  • 1 package of frozen pie crust
  • Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Half a stick of butter
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Milk

Cinnamon Roll Bites

Take your pie crust out of the freezer and let it thaw before unrolling it (otherwise it will rip apart).


Place your butter in a microwave friendly dish and heat until melted.

Spread butter across dough surface then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.


Roll it up, slice into pieces and bake for 8 – 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

Combine about 1/4 cup powdered sugar with about 1/8 cup milk (can vary depending on how thick you want your glaze) and spread over the top of your rolls once they’ve cooled.


These are the perfect pass around dish!

Gives you a quick bite and I promise it will have everyone licking their fingers while rolling their eyes as they beg you for the recipe which you won’t give. It’s our little secret.

    i’ve been on a huge cinnamon sugar kick (i tried making cinnamon rolls a couple weeks ago and they didn’t rise, so i’m still craving that flavor), so these sound perfect!
