This past week lasted a lifetime.
Long days, sleepless nights, running around like crazy has all added up to me never being so excited for the promise of a Monday and the start of a new week (keep in mind I will most likely feel very differently come Monday morning before I’ve had coffee).
So, in an effort to salvage what goodness was left of the previous week and to jump start the current week on a good note, Sunday morning involved my very favorite thing: brunch.
If you’re looking for a place with eye-rollingly good food, delicious cocktails and chefs in tall hats (most likely with a cartoon rat underneath telling them how to prepare each culinary masterpiece), then Jumps is for you.
If you want quick and very friendly service, you may want to try somewhere else.
However, if you’re in the second group, I’d still say go for a visit as the mimosas make it all worth it.
This is the face of a very happy lady.
Scrambled eggs, crispy, roasted red-skin potatoes and perfectly crispy and crunchy bacon.
With a slice of perfectly toasted bread and jam.
Chocolate zucchini bread.
If you’ve never had this before, it tastes like rich, fluffy cake. I kid you not. Honestly, each bite is like a piece of Heaven in your mouth.
With a side of fruit – I have never been served kiwi when I order fruit and I couldn’t have been more excited. . .
That’s a lie. I was more excited about the zucchini bread. Let’s have another look, shall we?
I highly recommend a visit to Jumps if you’re in the area – I know I’ll definitely be back.
Tell me, is there anything chocolate and mimosas can’t fix? Or a better way to start the week? (Hint: no)
