This weekend it was freezing cold and snowing in Michigan.
Last week I packed away all my winter clothes . . . and then it snowed.
Isn’t that what always happens?
Sunday was my day off and I had visions of strolling around Partridge Creek, doing a little shopping.
Only I woke up to howling wind and snow smattering against my window. I was whole heartedly tempted to crawl back in bed but in the name of retail therapy a little snow wasn’t going to stop me!
I threw on my hat, grabbed my main squeeze and rushed (slowly shuffled – I’m a notorious ice faller) out the door.
I’ve mentioned before I’m the worst at posting outfit details but I’m trying to be better at it. What? Honestly I am! I’ll prove it!
My hat is stolen from my dad (I found it, pushed back and forgotten in our coat closet and when he asked if it was his, I told him I had just bought it. He told me he really liked it. It took all I had not to break out in a Cheshire Cat grin) and my scarf (Loft) and jacket (Michael Kors) are from last winter but, if you’re interested, I’ve found a few similar ones here:
While I do love a fresh layer of snow, I’m so ready for the sun to show her lovely face again.
How is it where you are – is it still chilly and snowy or are you basking in the sun while reading this?
