Take a Walk on The Wild Side

I think when people hear that you took your dog for a walk, they almost always picture a blue sky, birds chirping overhead, sunnies on and a dog walking right by your side.

Now, I don’t know about you and your pup but my walks with Lupin are rarely like that.

(Can we talk about that tongue?)

More often then not, he’ll be pulling me along as he chases a squirrel, barking at bikers or walking backwards so he can stare at the people behind us.

Or twisting me up, 101 Dalmatians style.

Or Cindy Lou Who/Grinch style.

Your choice.

On my part, I’ll probably be talking to him. yes, I’m THAT person that has a full on conversation with their dog. In public.

I think it’s normal and don’t notice it until I’m out, saying something to him, look up and see the person next to me staring, trying to figure out whether I’m certifiably crazy for telling my dog to remind me to add peanut butterΒ to my shopping list.

Tell me, am I the only one who talks to their dog in public or is it the idyllic picture I described at the start?

Oh and if you’re wondering what’s up with my jeans – I bought them in high school (yep, you read that right) and thought I’d grow into them.

Clearly I haven’t.

Good to know I’m not the only one who is more or less “walked” by her dogs πŸ˜‰

Love how this is such a cute and creative post that you brought such meaning to, over as simple a topic as walking a dog! Amazing job. If you would ever be interested in collabing, my contact info is on my blog and I would love it you shot me an email. Either way, great post, and great content you have here!
